GlenOak Academic Challenge Team Finishes Season Undefeated

The GlenOak High School Varsity Academic Challenge Team wrapped up an exceptional regular season with a perfect 10-0 record, securing their final victory over New Philadelphia with a close score of 85-76. This impressive win capped off a dominant season that included victories against Hoover, Jackson, Perry, Lake, Green, McKinley, St. Thomas, Dover, and Sandy Valley.

Team members Liana Orn, Halle Speelman, Vincent Tilenni, Carter Uhren, and Jimmy Zurbuch demonstrated outstanding teamwork, quick thinking, and academic excellence throughout the season. Under the guidance of Coach Matt Brown, the team consistently performed at a high level, showcasing their knowledge across a wide range of subjects.

The team now looks ahead to tournament competition, which will take place on Sunday, January 28, at Jackson High School. We wish them the best of luck as they continue their incredible season!
