Summer Coloring Contest

2025 Plain Local Summer Coloring Contest
We’re excited to bring a creative opportunity to our community this summer with the 2025 Plain Local Summer Coloring Contest! This year, we’ve turned one of our favorite moments from the 2024-2025 school year into a fun coloring page featuring Ernie the Eagle at a GlenOak football game! Whether you’re a little Eagle or an adult, we want to see your artistic flair!

How to Enter:

  • Use the provided coloring page in the summer issue of Eagle Nation magazine OR
  • Download the coloring page from our website here
  • Color it however you like! Be creative, have fun, and let your imagination run wild.
  • Submit your entry by June 30, 2025, by emailing a clear photograph of your finished piece to communications@plainlocal.org.
    • In your email, please include:
      • Your full name (Parents include your child's name if they were the artist) 
      • Your age
      • Please send submissions separately.
      • The subject line of your email should be: “Your First Name Last Name – Coloring Contest.”

Age Categories:
We have separate categories for all ages, and we will choose one winner per age group! Winners will be announced in July, and their photos will be featured on our social media channels. The age categories are:

  • Preschool (3-5 years)
  • Early Elementary (6-8 years)
  • Upper Elementary (9-11 years)
  • Middle School (12-14 years)
  • High School (15-18 years)
  • Adult (18 and older)

Prizes:
A variety of prizes will be offered from local businesses, so don’t miss out on your chance to win! Thank you to our prize donors: Chick-fil-A Dressler Road, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Once Upon a Child/Plato's Closet, Community Soccer Club, Stark Parks, Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health, and Liz Sanders (Keller Williams).

A Note to Participants:
Please remember to take a clear photograph of your coloring sheet so we can properly showcase your work. The goal is to have fun, get creative, and celebrate the amazing artists in our community!
