Stark Teaching Honors

Plain Local Schools is proud to announce that Lori Eckelberry, 1st grade teacher at Avondale Elementary, has been named Teacher of the Year. In addition, Alex Fisher, an intervention specialist at Taft Elementary, has been recognized as Rookie Teacher of the Year. Both Lori and Alex will be recognized at a countywide ceremony in May as members of the Stark County All-Star Teaching Team.

These honors reflect the dedication, passion, and commitment both educators bring to their classrooms each day. Plain Local Schools is fortunate to have such outstanding educators who consistently go above and beyond to inspire and support student success.
