Rally for Public Education

Rally for Public Education

Plain Local Schools invites our community to join us at the Rally for Public Education on Tuesday, June 10, at 6:00 p.m. at the Canton Memorial Civic Center located at 1101 Market Ave N, Canton, OH. This event is an important opportunity for all of us to come together and support public education in the face of proposed state funding cuts that could impact our schools and students.

Public education is the foundation of our community, and we must ensure that every student has the resources they need to succeed. Plain Local Schools Superintendent Brent May will be speaking at the rally alongside Canton City School District Superintendent Jeff Talbert. A panel of Stark County superintendents will also discuss how the planned budget reductions could affect public education across our region.

The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 6:00 p.m. We encourage all members of our community to attend, learn more about the potential impact of these funding cuts, and show support for Stark County public schools.
