2026 Governor’s Show Ceremony

The Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition held its opening awards ceremony on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Verne Riffe Center in Columbus, Ohio. This award ceremony honored the 275 winning pieces of art selected from approximately 6,000 entries for this prestigious show. The Art Exhibition featuring this work is located in the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus, Ohio.

At the ceremony, GlenOak art student, Lon Wright, accepted the Top 25 Medal and award certificates of achievement for his 4 works of art selected for this Exhibition. Additionally, Lon received a $1,300 scholarship to attend a 3-week art camp at the Art Academy of Cincinnati this summer.
