2024-2025 Administrative Changes

We are pleased to announce some important changes to our administrative team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. These changes are part of our ongoing commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in serving our students and community.

First, we warmly welcome Mr. Matt Gagnon as the new Principal of Avondale Elementary. Matt has been an integral part of our district, having enriched our community through various roles, including School Counselor, Freshman Academy Principal at GlenOak High School, and Assistant Principal at Oakwood Middle School. He will be taking over from Ms. Jeanne McNeal, who is retiring after many years of dedicated service. We are confident that Matt will bring the same passion and leadership to Avondale Elementary.

Mr. Mark Yocum, who serves as Principal at Warstler Elementary, is stepping into the role of assistant principal at Oakwood Middle School. Mark's experience and leadership are assets that will undoubtedly contribute to the school's success.

Lastly, Mrs. Carolyn Herstich will assume the role of Principal at Warstler Elementary. Carolyn has shown exceptional leadership as the Assistant Principal at Glenwood Intermediate School, and we look forward to seeing her continue to excel in her new position.
