ParentSquare

Plain Local Schools transitioned to ParentSquare as its exclusive communication platform during the 2025-2026 school year. This summer, ParentSquare will roll over to the 2026-2027 school year, and families can continue using the same platform to stay connected with their child's school.

ParentSquare is designed to make it easier for families to stay informed and engaged. The platform brings school communication, emails, text messages, app notifications, forms, and announcements into one easy-to-use location. ParentSquare replaces systems such as Remind, separate email newsletters, and other communication tools previously used throughout the district, creating one place to receive information from teachers, principals, coaches, and the district.

Summer Transition Notice: As ParentSquare transitions to the 2026-2027 school year, some information may appear incomplete or inaccurate during the summer months. Families may temporarily see outdated class schedules, teacher assignments, school information, or student details while district systems are updated and synchronized for the new school year.

Please note that summer data is subject to change and may not reflect final schedules, classroom assignments, or enrollment information. We appreciate your patience as we prepare for the start of the school year.

Existing ParentSquare users do not need to create a new account. Your account will automatically transition to the new school year.

New parents and guardians with up-to-date contact information on file with Plain Local Schools will receive an email or text message inviting them to activate their ParentSquare account. Alternatively, you can visit parentsquare.com and request an activation code using the email address or phone number on file with the district. If you do not receive an invitation, please verify that your contact information is current in FinalForms.

Follow the steps below to activate your account:

1. Open the invitation email or text message and select Activate Your Account. You may also visit parentsquare.com and request an activation code using the email address associated with your Plain Local Schools account.
2. Create a password and select Register.
3. Verify your phone number and/or email address. A verification code will be sent to the contact information provided.
4. Enter the verification code to confirm your account.
5. Review the children associated with your account and select Confirm. If a child is incorrectly listed, select Not My Child.
6. Select Yes, This Is Me to complete the setup process.
