2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

Please review the schedule below on how all students grades K-12 will receive their schedule for the 2024-2025 school year.

GlenOak High School, Oakwood Middle School and Glenwood Intermediate Schools (Grades 5-12):

Homerooms will be emailed to parents on August 12, 2024, and schedules will be loaded in the Home Access Center. Access for the HAC will open on August 6, 2024.

Parents may request a copy of their email from the school office after August 12, in case they did not receive the email.
 

Elementary Buildings (Grades K-4):
Class lists will be emailed to parents on August 12, 2024, for all Elementary buildings. Parents may request a copy of their email from the school office after August 12 in case they did not receive the email. 

All 5th through 12th grade student HAC (Home Access Center) usernames and passwords have been set to their Chromebook Login/Eagleapps account information. Students will login (username) with the first part of their email address (everything prior to @eagleapps.org) and their current Chromebook/email password. 

Parents of students in grades 5-12 can register for an account by following the steps below: 

1. Visit the Home Access Center 

2. Click “Click Here to Register for HAC”

3. Select “Plain Local Schools” from the drop-down

4. Fill in the required fields

5. You will receive an email containing a URL and a one-time access code 

6. Click on the URL in the email, enter the one-time access code and the birthdate of one of your registered students.

If you are not able to log into the HAC, please contact your child's school directly to have your password reset. Please keep in mind HAC access is closed for the summer until August 6, 2024. 

Building secretaries return to work on August 1. You can contact any school by phone or by visiting the school. Contact information for all schools is listed below. 

Plain Local Schools uses Final Forms, an online portal, to complete all forms. All parents and students will log on here, to complete their forms. Parents will be sent an email in August to remind them to complete their forms. Any issues call us at 330-492-3500.

Bus information for qualifying students will be emailed to families along with all beginning of the year information on August 12. Bus Routes are loaded online in Versatrans E-Link for viewing and will be available on August 12, 2024. Instructions to log in are available on this page. 

The transportation department launched a new software application during the 2021-2022 school year. Versatrans My Stop® allows parents to track their students’ bus location and arrival times, as well as receive notifications on delays, breakdowns, and other pertinent information.

Your username and password for My Stop are the same as your password for Versatrans E-Link.

If it is your first time logging in your username and password are your students' FIRSTNAME.LASTNAME all capitalized. Please click here for a step-by-step guide on how to download the My Stop app.

During the 2021-2022 school year breakfast and lunch were offered at no cost to families. Guidance from the USDA does not allow to offer free meals to all students during the 2024-2025 school year.

Families must complete the Free and Reduced Meals Application to see if they are eligible to receive free and reduced meals. Visit PaySchools to apply online for Meal Benefits (Free and Reduced Meals Application), https://www.payschoolscentral.com/. Payschools Central will close for the summer and reopen August 1, 2024.

To check your student’s account balance, complete a Free and Reduced Meal Application, or add money to your student’s account, please go to www.payschoolscentral.com. Payschools Central will close for the summer and reopen August 1, 2024.

Chromebooks will be distributed to new students in grades 5-12 in addition to returning students in grades 5 and 9 at the start of the school year. Students who took their school issued Chromebook home for the summer will need to bring it to school charged on the first day of school. 

Elementary classrooms will be using the devices at the beginning of the year within each classroom and will distribute them at this time. Call the Technology Department at 330-491-3877 with any questions. 

If your school-issued Chromebook needs a repair, you will need to complete the Chromebook Repair Form found here. Repairs during the summer will take place at GlenOak High School. Call the Technology Department at 330-491-3877 with any questions. 

All of the fall Athletic schedules are posted on the Athletic Website at glenoakathletics.org. You can click on any sport at the top of the page to view the individual team schedule for middle school and high school athletics.

GlenOak High School students can purchase a parking pass in August on a schedule giving priority to senior students, then juniors, then sophomores. Parking passes are available for sale through Local Level Events on the following schedule: 

• Wednesday: August 14 Sale Opens for SENIORS

• Thursday: August 15 Sale Opens for JUNIORS

• Friday: August 16 Sale Opens for SOPHOMORES & FRESHMAN
