Welcome to GlenOak High School!

As we enter the second semester of the school year, our students are moving ahead with many accomplishments under their belts and a lot more to look forward to. GlenOak students are finding success in academics, the arts, athletics and many cultural and community activities. We want to congratulate our many students who have received special accomplishments so far this year. In academics, all of our juniors will take the ACT on February. Our International Baccalaureate students worked with Mr. Ryan Foltz and Judge Frank Forchione to host a Naturalization Ceremony in which Government students were invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate with our country’s newest citizens. In the Arts, several VIsual Arts students were recognized at the 65th Scholastic Art Awards. Practice is fully underway for the 2019 High School Musical, Guys and Dolls, and we encourage you to join us for a fantastic show on February 22 and 23.  In athletics, we will soon begin tournament play.  Our girls basketball team is having a fantastic season.  They are ranked in the top 10 in the state. Our swim relay teams on both the boys and girls side are ranked in the top 20 in the state.

We are striving to meet the needs of all of our students exactly where they are, challenging them to take on their next endeavor. Our success is dependant upon a dedicated staff, involved families, a supportive community, and of course, amazing students. We work hard to get better every day and create opportunities for our students to explore their individual talents and interests.

We have a tradition of excellence and are working to maintain our recognition by US News and World Reports as a top school.
