Please read below for important dates for the 2019-2020 school year! 

2019 Plain Family Fun Day

Join the Plain Local School District and Plain Township Community Saturday, September 14, 2019 for a free event for our community, Family Fun Day! Join us for the Plain Township Rotary pancake breakfast, activities for kids, student performances, sports activities, and more!

This fun-filled day will take place Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the GlenOak High School Community Campus.  The Rotary Club of Plain Township will serve a pancake breakfast. Tickets can be purchased from 7am-1pm, $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under, and FREE activities will take place from 9am-12pm, open to the public.

The halls of GlenOak High School will be filled with activities for children of all ages. Every school in the district will be represented in a part of the building. Some activities include carnival games, a photo booth, music, face painting, obstacle courses, make it-take it crafts, and more.

Plain Township Community partners will line the GlenOak Commons areas with information about their programs, health and wellness activities and more. Green and gold will be in full gear as Parent Support Groups sell spirit wear and accessories for every occasion!

GlenOak High School students are instructed to attend the first day of school with a writing utensil and paper. 

Online Fee Payments

Please note: You will not be able to make any online outstanding instructional fee or cafeteria payments for the 2018-2019 school year effective June 14, 2019 . Payments can still be dropped off at Central Office at 901 44th Street Canton, Ohio 44709 M-F 8am-3pm. Please call us at 330-492-3500 with any questions. 

Summer Feeding Locations

Plain Local Schools--Summer Feeding Program 

Meals are provided by Plain Local Schools at NO COST to CHILDREN AGES 1-18 in our community from June 3-August 16, 2019. 

Home Access Center Notice

Parents please note that access to the Home Access Center will be shut down on Monday, June 17 at 3PM and will reopen in August for the 19-20 school year. Please contact us over the summer by phone at 330-492-3500 if you have any needs. 

Electronic Forms for 2019-2020

Reminder: Plain Local Schools uses all electronic forms for beginning of the year paperwork for 2019-2020. This will include forms such as emergency medical and student authorization. You will be receiving an email from FinalForms (from the sender on August 5 with login information and steps on how to complete the necessary forms for each of your students. In the meantime if you want to ensure your contact information is correct please call central office at 330-492-3500.

New Student Registration

New to Plain Local? You can stop in at the Administration Office anytime over the summer to register your child.
