Inaugural Night at the Races a Success!

The new look STEAM under the direction of teacher Amanda Arway show off what they have been doing during Glenwood's inaugural "Night at the Races."  The event was a big success on Thursday, November 20th during the parent-teacher conference night.  A total of 62 cars created by 124 5th grade STEAM students in Mrs. Arway's class were raced.  The track, mini car kits, and timing system was purchased through a STAR grant from the Plain Local School Foundation.  The winning group will race at Akron in May 2015.
