This year, we are going to try something new to help keep all of our families informed about events taking place at our school. We are going to use a free mass texting application called Remind101.
Here are some of the basics:
- Standard text messaging rates apply (per your cellular contract)
- All phone numbers/personal information is kept confidential.
- You can opt out at any point by texting the number (listed below) with: unsubscribe@mbfamily
- The system is meant for one-way communication only. (Only the school can text you/You can not text back as no messages are received on our end)
- We will use this for short reminders on items like picture day, spirit days, music programs, etc.

Thank you for choosing the Plain Local School District. Your school has been designated as a Title I funded building. Title I is a federally funded program that allows qualifying schools to use Title I funds for supplemental services and support for students in need of assistance in reading and/or math.
Below you will find your building's School Compact and Parent Involvement Policy. Research has shown that parent involvement is a key factor in each child's academic success. This document outlines how the school will provide multiple opportunities for parents to be involved in their child's academic progress at school. If you have any questions regarding Title I services, please contact your building principal or Deb Nicodemo, Director of Title I Services, at 330-491-3877.
