Martin, Garman Sign Letters of Intent

GlenOak quarterback/defensive back Brandon Martin (above) signed his letter of intent to play football with Duquesne University.  Martin has been an integral part of the Golden Eagle football team that made the playoffs three years in a row, winning the Federal League Championship in 2009.  He has earned All-League, All-District and All-County honors his junior and senior year as well as an Academic All-Ohio title for his 3.7 GPA.

Martin is currently enrolled in the Business Academy at GlenOak HS and plans to study business and sports marketing at Duquesne.  He is pictured with his parents Lance and Shirley Martin.


GlenOak middle linebacker Andrew Garman (below) signed his letter of intent to play football with Ashland University. Garman helped the Golden Eagles reach the playoffs in each of his three years as a starter, leading them to their first Federal League title in 15 years.  In 2009 he earned the title of Division I co-Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-Ohio honors.

Garman is currently enrolled in the Human Services Academy at GlenOak High School and plans to study education at Ashland.  He is pictured with his parents Tony and Renee Garman.
