Welcome to GlenOak High School's School Counseling Department!

Students must submit course requests in the Home Access Center (HAC) for the 2018-2019 academic year between Feb. 5th at 3:00 pm-Feb.16th at 3:00pm.

Scheduling Advising for 2018-2019:
When: Daily February 6th through February 16th 7:25am-3:00pm
Where: CICC Room (2nd Floor "C" Commons)
How: Walk-in. NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED. Counselors will be available at all times.
What: Students can meet with a counselor one-on-one or in small groups to discuss course selection for the 2018-2019 school year.


CCP/IB Advising for 2018-2019: 
*CCP and IB packets are due to Academy Office by March 16th* No Late packets will be accepted.

When: Wednesdays ONLY February 14th-March 14th 7:25am-3:00pm
Where: CICC Room (2nd Floor "C" Commons)
How: Walk-in. NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED. Counselors will be available at all times.

What: Students can meet with a counselor one-on-one for assistance with with the CCP enrollment process. Students can meet with Mrs. Palmer about enrolling in the IB Programme when available in the CICC or contact directly for an appointment (palmere@plainlocal.org)

Accuplacer Testing for CCP for 2018-2019:
When: Wednesdays by appointment ONLY February 14th-March 14th.
Where: CICC Room (2nd Floor "C" Commons)
How: Make an appointment online; https://tinyurl.com/GOHS-Accuplacer
What: Students will be given the Accuplacer test for the purposes of qualifying for College Credit Plus.

Parent Scheduling/Transition Night:  
(for students entering 10th, 11th, and 12th grades)

When: Monday, February 12th at 6pm 
Where: GOHS Black Box Theatre
How:
No registration needed. Just come!
What: Counselors will present information about graduation requirements, course offerings and the process of requesting courses for the 2018-2019 school year.
