Dear Oakwood Families,
As our school year comes to a close and we prepare to send our 8th graders on to the high school, we stop and reflect on the success and growth of each individual student. We thank our families for their continued partnership in education and for your support of our efforts and initiatives.
The students of Oakwood continue to amaze us with their leadership, involvement, and academic success. Each week throughout this school year, we have had celebrations of student art exhibits and performances, individual and team competitions, and club participation. Our students have been acknowledged for their academic excellence, artistic creativity, innovation and collaborative teamwork. Whether returning with a medal, ribbon, or trophy; Oakwood students always find a way to the leaders board! We congratulate everyone for showing their GRIT!
As we look to the future, we wish all of our students continued success. May they utilize the tools that they have collected to create future success in their lives. We say goodbye to our 8th grade class, but will proudly watch them accomplish their goals! Seventh graders, we look forward to your leadership next year as you become the role models for our incoming 7th grade students.
The years at Oakwood pass quickly, but are packed with experiences. We hope all of the people, activities, and milestones you experienced at Oakwood are carried with you throughout your life!
Enjoy your summer - Stay Safe - Go Eagles!
